Editorial Policy
We write the guides and the shelf pages here, from the specification we hold for each piece. The name on a card is ours as well: a hundred-character title suits a search box, and a person choosing a top wants the cut and the size first.
Where a specification says nothing, we leave the line out. A measurement nobody measured reads worse than a blank.
Where safety comes into it, we open the public guidance ourselves, quote it word for word and print the date we read it beside the link. If our wording and theirs ever differ, take theirs.
We publish the whole shelf, including the pieces that suit almost nobody, and we say who a piece does not suit. If you find something wrong on any page, write to inbox@tcot.org and we will change it.
